It was reported that investment companies undertaking the “brain function” in regional headquarters were speeding up their settlement in Shanghai. In the first quarter this year, foreign investors set up 13 headquarter economic organizations in Shanghai. By the end of March, there had been 612 foreign headquarter economic organizations settled in Shanghai, with 191 regional headquarters, 170 investment companies and 251 R&D centers. These organizations gradually gathered in Shanghai, thus strengthening the radiant intensity of Shanghai’s economy as well as upgrading Shanghai’s economic integrated strength.
