Bilateral Trade between China and Germany in the First Half of This Year Stood at EUR43.676b, up 11.55%

   According to the latest statistical data released by Federal Statistics Office, in the first half of 2008, trade between China and Germany kept a faster momentum of development, with bilateral trade of EUR43.676b, up 11.55% year-on-year. Among them, import of Germany from China stood at EUR26.834b, up 6.53% year-on-year, and export of Germany to China reached EUR16.842b, up 20.60% year-on-year significantly, with Germany¡¯s trade deficit with China standing at EUR9.992b.
In the current month of June, trade of China and Germany amounted to EUR7.556b, up 16.50% year-on-year. Among them, export of Germany to China was EUR3.133b, up 24.48% year-on-year, and import of Germany from China amounted to EUR4.423b, up 11.44% year-on-year.
