Bilateral Trade of Brazil and China Significantly Increased

   According to statistics of the secretariat of Brazil foreign trade department, from January to September, bilateral trade of Brazil and China stood at USD28.6b, which had exceeded the total amount of USD23.36b of 2007. Among them, export of Brazil to China amounted to USD13.7b, and import from China was USD14.9b, up by 66.4% and 64.6% respectively year-on-year. Brazil¡¯s top three trade partners are respectively US (USD40.6b), China and Argentina (USD23.7b). China is Brazil¡¯s second biggest import source and third biggest export destination.
From January to September this year, Brazil import and export stood at USD282.08b, up by 38.7% year-on-year. Among them, export amounted to USD150.868b, and import USD131.212b, up by 28.7% and 52.4% respectively year-on-year, with the balance trade of USD19.656b.
