Statistics from the Customs indicated that from January to July
this year, export and import trade growth of China to Africa continuously
accelerated, and the goal China put forward that in 2010 bilateral trade volume
will reach USD100b will be expected to be achieved ahead of time this
year. According to statistics from the Customs, from January to
July this year, import and export of China to Africa accumulatively stood at
USD62.94b, up by 60.1% year-on-year, with growth rate increasing by 30.5
percentage points. Among them, export to Africa amounted to USD27.92b, up by
39.5%; import from Africa USD35.02b, up by 81.4%. Owing to Chinese significant
import growth, the bilateral trade pattern has been changed with the favorable
balance of USD720m from the same period of last year to the current trade
deficit of USD7.1b. |
