Service trade in Chinese communication and information field kept stable development in various countries, and is also the object that China mainly supports and has good development prospects, Hu Jingyan, Director of Department of Trade in Services of the MOFCOM said.
Hu said at the inauguration meeting of the Communication and Information Service Trade Commission of the China Association of Trade in Services that in 2007 import and export of Chinese communication service stood at USD2.26b, up by 50.2% year-on-year; import and export of computer and information service USD6.55b, up by 39.5% year-on-year, both of which were higher than the growth rate of Chinese import and export of service trade over the same period.
