Shanghai Association of international Economic & Technological Cooperation (hereinafter abbreviated as Association), which is subordinate to Shanghai Municipal Government Foreign Economic Relations and Trade Commission, is a social organization aiming at promoting the economic and technology exchange and cooperation between the enterprises in Shanghai and overseas.
According to the economic situation after China entered WTO and the need of contracting market home and abroad, Association is going to organize three special organizations approved by Shanghai Municipal Government. They are "Shanghai Special Committee for Foreign Labor Services", "Shanghai Special Committee for Cooperation between Chinese and Foreign Contractors", "Shanghai Center for Foreign 　Economic & Technological Exchange" and "Shanghai HuanTong Commercial Consulting Cod. Ltd.". They will offer services such as information exchange, advices on local laws and policies, introducing partners for cooperation, hosting special exhibition as well as various training projects respectively.
